Since 2006 The Venue Theatre, Ratoath Co. Meath continues to proudly support the arts at local, national and international levels. Our beautiful theatre space provides the opportunity to encourage, art, drama and music, first and foremost amongst the community of Ratoath. In addition, our theatre provides a number of diverse inclusive initiatives to enhance and enrich the quality of life for our residents and surrounding communities. Our patrons tell us it is one of the best theatres to sit and enjoy a play, show, concert, gig or community initiative.

Thanks to the support of the Department of Arts Cultural Capital Grant Scheme 2022, we were able to carry out a renovation of our theatre with new state of the art lighting, sound and seating.

Now!! our new seating permits 244 patrons to enjoy their experience at The Venue Theatre and we want to continue to build on these fabulous improvements.

The icing on the cake is the opportunity for your name to be engraved on a plaque affixed to one of our new seats.

Terms of Seat Sponsorship

Plaque engraving is limited to 30 characters total.
Seat name recognition does not guarantee that you will be seated in that actual seat when you purchase a ticket to a performance. However, we will endeavour to do our best to allocate this to you if it is free at the time of booking.
Sponsorship does not mean free entry to performances.
Sponsoring a seat lasts for 10 years after which we reserve the right to renew the scheme. You will be given the first right of refusal for renewal at that time.
Once we install your plaque – we will let you know when it has arrived and will be in touch to arrange a time for you to view it privately with friends, relatives or colleagues.

The cost of sponsoring a seat with your own dedicated plaque on the back is a once off payment of €250, with an option to pay in instalments over 12 months. You can personalise the text with a message, quote or personal dedication. In addition, you will receive a special cert of sponsorship which will include your message, your seat number and a photo of the plaque in place on the seat. You will also have your generous donation acknowledged on our list of supporters online. It is possible to sponsor more than one seat, indeed your club or company may want its own row, note there is tax relief available on donations of €250 or more.

As we are a registered charity this amount donated will all go directly towards supporting the arts, community diverse and inclusive initiatives in Ratoath.
